Sarah Prescott is a self-taught internationally award winning photographer specializing in abstractions; in essence, she paints with her camera.

The viewer is invited on her journey which emphasizes the innate way she interprets ordinary or damaged objects and shares their beauty.

Her journey has been marred with personal tragedies and illnesses. Through these challenges she invites you to see life through her eyes; to observe and reflect on things normally discarded or overlooked. The rust in Bloom series is a perfect example of this. Some see a rusty old tugboat, some see cherry blossoms or fall colors.
